Hello and welcome to the website of the

10ème Symposium de Morphométrie et Évolution des Formes

For the first time the symposium will take place in Bordeaux on June 18-20th, 2018

This symposium, organized by the laboratory PACEA (UMR 5199) and the Archaeological Sciences Cluster of Excellence of Bordeaux, aims to foster exchanges among users of morphometric approaches in different fields of research, such as evolutionary biology, developmental biology, archaeobiology, systematics, paleontology, and ecology. Beyond the methodological aspects, this symposium is targeted at all researchers interested in the morphological quantification of forms, biological or not, with this year the will to welcome researchers quantifying morphological variation of objects coming from the material culture.

The communications will be either podium presentations (10-12' + 3-5' of discussion) or posters. Registration fees are 35euros for students and unemployed participants and 50euros for all other participants.

Registration fees include:

- coffee breaks

- lunches (June 19-20th)  

- A guided tour of the historical centre of Bordeaux

(June 19th early evening - Registration is required) 

Evenings are free. The symposium taking place in the historic center of Bordeaux, many restaurants will be nearby.
